There are so much buzz about Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf with her impeccable fashion choices. This time, I googled a little bit of the actress, Leighton Meester on how she put on her daily fashion outfits. Well, I shall say she did an excellent job in not dissapointing her fans with her fashion taste as she looks pretty darn good most of the time.
Now doesn't she look lovely? I did mention about the blazers/jackets in my favourite fall trend and looks like Leighton caught up on that trend! Pay attention on how she paired her great blazer with her dainty dress.
Oh and she finished the outfit expertly with that little detail on her wrist. Classy!
Now what I noticed about Leighton is she plays alot with the dress structure, minimal and usually interesting choice of colours. She is not quite the print type, as she usually dress herself up with usually dual tone numbers, classic shift dresses with cute accessories. It's all about the fit isn't it?
Pay attention to those shoes? Leighton usually don on sturdy chunky sexy shoes. Usually peeptoes to show off her pedicure perhaps? But anyhoos, I'd say her shoes are gorgeous. Look for those that has straps around the ankles, for the sturdy look. It'll totally exude the girl power or I'd-kick-your-ass-in-these-heels kinda girl in you. Look for shoes from Aldo or Nine West. They usually carry these gorgeous heels.
I also did a little window shopping (blog hopping in this case) by visiting a few blogshops to get as close to Leighton Meester's look and found a few pieces that might have a taste of Meester's fashion sense.

A little bit mod but with minor detailings and a good fit is what Leighton looks for in her outfits, from what I've noticed. Perhaps a 80 denier leggings would do for the finishing touch as you don't want the skirt to look too short as Leighton usually go for the slightly above knee length skirts. Modest yet cute, ;)

This I would say is a mixture of Blair and Leighton. The middle of the two persona. The detailing on the colar is very classy with that cute pleatings. The colour is absolutely gorgeous for a fair toned skin just like Leighton.
